ESTATES

The parish is lucky to have a wonderful estate which allows excellent recreational and leisure facilities for the parishioners of the village.

The Council maintains three sites within the village envelope.

Hook Meadow

Hook Meadow is an 8 acre field set in the heart of the village. It offers a first class area for exercise and sport and includes a tennis court and children’s play area both of which are maintained by the parish council. Tennis can be played for £6 an hour (adults) and £2 an hour (children).

Also on Hook Meadow are the Cricket Club and the Bowls Club. Both these clubs employ specialist grounds persons to look after and maintain the cricket square and the bowling green. Jointly the Cricket and Bowls Club also run and maintain the pavilion, whilst the Village Hall, which abuts Hook Meadow, is run by a separate committee.  The car park on Hook Meadow is the Village Hall car park and is not a parish council facility.
If you want to hire Hook Meadow for an event or an activity please contact the Parish Clerk.

If you are using Hook Meadow to exercise your dog, please ensure you pick up any dog poo as the area is used extensively by children and sportsmen/women.  Keep Britain Tidy Campaign.

The Churchyard and Cremation Area

The parish council maintains the churchyard and the cremation area that surround All Saints Church.

Parishioners may be buried in the churchyard or their ashes interred in the cremation area.

The current parish burial regulations are here.
Football Pitch, Dippenhall Street

The parish council also maintains a football field in Dippenhall Street, and a pavilion.

As well as being the home of Crondall FC this is another wonderful exercise and recreational area.

As with Hook Meadow, if you are exercising your dog here please ensure you pick up any dog poo.
