Your hard-working Councillors are elected every 4 years and serve (unpaid) to represent and develop  your community.  Councillors put in 4-10 hours a week, including regular monthly meetings, training course and their representation on other local bodies.

Matthew Seary
Councillor

Matthew has a background in commercial property.

He will be leading on: Environment matters.

Simon O’Connor
Councillor

Simon is leading on formulating the Neighbourhood Plan for the village. He is Chairman of the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group.

Chris Dorn
Chairman

A Councillor since 2008, Chris’s main previous roles have been “Planning Lead” and SID operator as part of his duties on (the now defunct) Traffic and Lighting Committee.  A professional engineer, project manager and company Director, Chris is committed to improving the village for all ages, defending the Crondall way of life that we all value so much and keeping you properly informed.

David Argent
Vice Chairman

David is Vice Chairman and Finance Officer.

Ross Ellerington
Councillor

Ross was co-opted in 2016.  With a strong career in information technology, Ross takes the lead on IT matters on the Council in collaboration with the Clerk.

Councillor

Colin has the role of Estates Lead and works closely with Sean the Council’s groundsman

Colin Hebbron
Councillor

Colin takes an interest in trying to get faster broadband into the village, and leads on matters to do with footpaths.
