Crondall Parish Council Services
The Parish Council provides the following direct local services, most other services in the local area are provided either by Hart District Council or Hampshire County Council.
Maintenance of Hook Meadow and other Parish Council facilities
Any concerns about health and safety should be immediately reported to the Parish Clerk (or Groundsman if available). This includes the children’s playground.
Burials and Ashes administration
The Parish Council administers these to ensure their compliance with the Law and long-term viability as a facility for local people. Enquiries should be made to the Parish Clerk.
The Parish Council is a “statutory consultee” to most local planning applications, however the final decisions on all planning matters are made by Hart District Council. The Parish does not normally comment on applications for ‘tree works’ and on pre-application advice, which is managed by Hart District Council.
The parish manages its own finances with a annual budget of around £50,000.
